Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and TurboScribe for the TurboScribe: Audio to Text iPhone app. By using the app you accept these terms. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your download of the app from the App Store.
1.The service
TurboScribe converts audio and video — recordings, imported files, and YouTube links — into transcripts, and provides AI summaries and insights, on-device translation, subtitle generation, audio cleanup tools, and exports. Processing happens on our servers with the help of trusted providers.
2.Free plan
The free plan includes a one-time total of 3 minutes of transcribed audio per install (recording, importing, and live transcription combined) and 1 Ask AI question. Exporting transcripts you already have is free. Everything else in the AI toolkit, plus Translation and unlimited transcription, requires TurboScribe Pro.
3.TurboScribe Pro subscription
TurboScribe Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $119.99 per year or $19.99 per month, with a discounted first-year offer of $97.99 sometimes available. Prices are in USD — the exact price for your region and currency is always the one shown on the App Store purchase screen. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account’s Subscriptions settings. If you’ve subscribed before on another device, use Restore Purchases to unlock Pro without paying again. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.
4.Your content
You keep all rights to the audio you record or upload and the transcripts generated from it. You give us only the limited permission needed to process your files with our providers and return the results to you. We don’t use your recordings or transcripts for advertising, and we don’t sell them.
5.Acceptable use
Only record or upload content you have the right to use — including getting consent from the people you record where the law requires it. Don’t use the service for unlawful content, to infringe others’ rights, or to disrupt or overload the service. We may limit or block usage that harms the service or other users.
6.Saving videos and audio
The YouTube Downloader and YouTube import are tools for content you own or have permission to save, such as your own uploads, Creative Commons videos, or videos whose creator allows downloads. Downloading copyrighted content without permission may violate YouTube’s Terms of Service and copyright law. You are solely responsible for what you download and how you use it.
7.Your account
Signing in with Apple is optional. You’re responsible for activity in your account. Your app account and subscription are separate from the TurboScribe website: they aren’t linked, and an app subscription can’t be used on the website or the other way around. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.
8.Accuracy
Transcripts, summaries, translations, and other AI output are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. Review the output before relying on it — especially for anything important, professional, medical, or legal.
9.Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable, but it is provided “as is” and features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued as the product evolves. We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10.Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TurboScribe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
